The Inspiration Behind the Sabhya & Saachi Series: The Story Behind the Stories

The Sabhya & Saachi Series was born out of a deep desire to create stories that resonate with children and parents alike. As a mother, I often found myself searching for books that not only entertained my children but also taught them valuable life lessons. However, during my search for sibling stories or books related to toddler challenges, I realized there was a significant gap in the market. Most of the available literature featured animals or abstract objects, which, while charming, didn’t provide the relatable, real-world context I was looking for. I wanted my children to see themselves in the stories they read, to encounter challenges similar to those they face in their own lives, and to learn from characters who felt real and accessible.

This realization was the spark that led to the creation of the Sabhya & Saachi Series. The name “SabhyaSaachi” itself is a reflection of my two children, who have been the inspiration behind these stories. Watching them navigate the ups and downs of siblinghood, I wanted to create a series that mirrored their experiences, offering them characters they could see themselves in and lessons they could carry into their daily lives.

The intent behind the Sabhya & Saachi Series goes beyond simply telling stories; it’s about fostering strong family bonds and encouraging positive behavior. Each book is designed to be a tool for parents to use in guiding their children through the complexities of growing up. Whether it’s learning to share, understanding the value of teamwork, or appreciating the uniqueness of each family member, the stories are crafted to resonate with both children and parents in a practical, real-world context.

Ultimately, the Sabhya & Saachi Series is my way of giving back to the community of parents and children who, like us, are navigating the beautiful, sometimes chaotic, journey of family life.
